Quick Verdict
siift gives founders a structured AI workspace for business strategy: an Intelligent Business Canvas, a Living Memory System that keeps your project context, instant evidence-backed feedback and proactive step-by-step guidance across five stages (Ideate, Validate, Build, Go To Market, Scale). Its best feature is commercial rather than technical: the Free plan is the full product, so you can judge the whole workflow on 50 credits a month before paying anything. The catches: usage is credit-based and a request can cost more than one credit depending on complexity; today's paid prices depend on a LAUNCH26 promo that may expire; siift says it does not help with HR, legal, compliance or finance; and it is a young product whose traction figures are the vendor's own. This verdict is based on siift's published product and pricing information as of October 2026. RankerToolAI has not run a hands-on test of siift.
What is siift?
siift is a web-based AI tool for one job: helping founders decide what to build and what to do next. The company describes it as an "execution filter" and an agentic AI operating system for founders and early-stage entrepreneurs. In plain terms, you describe your business or idea, siift keeps a structured picture of it, and the AI challenges your assumptions, backs its feedback with evidence and suggests the next concrete step.
That focus is what separates it from a general chatbot. A general assistant answers whatever you ask. siift is built around a fixed founder journey, so the conversation is anchored to your business canvas and to the stage you are in. Whether that structure suits you depends on how much guidance you want: first-time founders will probably value the scaffolding more than serial entrepreneurs who already have their own process.
siift is made by siift ai inc, based in Vancouver, Canada. Its website says it is used by "1,200+ serious builders" and displays logos of programs including AWS Startups, NVIDIA Inception and Founder University. These are vendor claims; we have not independently verified the user count or the nature of those program relationships.
The Five Stages: Ideate to Scale
siift organises its guidance around five stages. The stage names below are siift's; the descriptions are our reading of what each stage means for a founder.
- 1. Ideate
- 2. Validate
- 3. Build
- 4. Go To Market
- 5. Scale
- Ideate: shape a raw idea into something specific enough to test.
- Validate: pressure-test assumptions before you commit time and money. This is where evidence-backed feedback matters most.
- Build: decide what to build first and in what order.
- Go To Market: plan how you reach your first customers.
- Scale: work out what to change once something is working.
In our reading, the weight of the product sits in the first two stages. If you are already past product-market fit and running a team, much of what siift offers is likely to overlap with processes you already have.
Key Features
siift says every plan, including Free, includes the full feature set. The features below are therefore available whichever tier you choose.
1. Intelligent Business Canvas
The canvas is the structured core of a siift project: one place that holds your business model as it develops. Because the AI's feedback and guidance work from this canvas, the aim is answers grounded in your specific business rather than generic startup advice. Every plan includes unlimited projects, so you can keep a separate canvas for each idea you are comparing instead of overwriting one.
2. Living Memory System (agentic memory)
siift's Living Memory System is its name for persistent, agentic memory: the tool keeps track of your project context over time, so you don't have to re-explain your market, customer and decisions every session. For a founder working on an idea over weeks or months, that continuity is the main practical difference from starting a fresh chat each time.
3. Instant evidence-backed feedback and validation
siift positions its feedback as evidence-backed: when you propose an assumption, it responds with reasons rather than encouragement. This is the "execution filter" idea in practice, helping you drop weak ideas early. We haven't measured the quality or accuracy of that evidence, so treat it as input to your own customer research, not a substitute for talking to customers.
4. Proactive step-by-step guidance
Rather than waiting for you to ask the right question, siift suggests the next step based on your stage and canvas. This is most useful for first-time founders who don't yet know what they should be checking at each stage.
5. Human-in-the-loop automations across 80+ apps
siift says it can run automations across 80+ popular applications with a human in the loop, meaning you approve actions rather than letting the AI act unchecked. The product information we reviewed doesn't list which applications are supported, so if a specific tool in your stack matters, confirm it on the Free plan before you upgrade.
6. Shareable workspaces and views
Workspaces and views can be shared, which lets co-founders, advisers or early team members see the same canvas. Paid pricing is per user, so budget accordingly if several people need their own credits.

siift Pricing & Plans (2026)
These are the plans published on siift's pricing page at time of writing (October 2026). All prices are per user.
| Plan | Monthly price | Annual price | Credits/user/mo | Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 forever | — | 50 (up to 50 AI requests, depending on complexity) | Not specified in the pricing information we reviewed |
| Discover | $20/user/mo with LAUNCH26 (list $29) | $11/user/mo ($131/yr) | 200 | Human support, <48hr |
| Focus (marked "most popular") | $69/user/mo with LAUNCH26 (list $99) | $37/user/mo ($449/yr) | 1,000 | Premium support, <12hr |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Pooled credits | Private servers & governance, custom frameworks/integrations, consolidated billing, advanced analytics |
Every plan includes unlimited projects, the Intelligent Business Canvas, the Living Memory System, evidence-backed feedback, proactive guidance, human-in-the-loop automations across 80+ apps, and shareable workspaces and views. The paid tiers change only two things: how many credits you get and how quickly support responds.
siift advertises annual billing as "Save 46%". By our own arithmetic against today's promo monthly prices, a year of Discover costs $131 billed annually versus $240 at $20/month, and a year of Focus costs $449 billed annually versus $828 at $69/month. For a team, multiply by seats: three users on Focus monthly would be $207/month at the promo price.
How siift Credits Work
siift meters usage in credits. The Free plan gives each user 50 credits a month, which siift says covers up to 50 AI requests depending on complexity. In other words, simple requests stretch the allowance furthest and more complex requests use it up faster. The pricing information we reviewed doesn't publish a per-request credit cost, so you can't calculate in advance exactly how many requests 200 or 1,000 credits will buy.
That makes the Free plan useful as a measuring tool, not just a trial. Because Free includes every feature, you can run a real project for a month, see how quickly your typical work uses credits, and then pick the tier that matches. If 50 credits lasts most of the month, Discover's 200 is likely enough; if you burn through 50 in a few sessions, Focus's 1,000 is the safer choice.
On Enterprise, credits are pooled instead of fixed per user, which suits organisations where a few people use the tool heavily and the rest rarely.
What siift Doesn't Do
siift's own FAQ says it does not help with HR, legal, compliance or finance. That is an honest boundary, and an important one for founders: company formation, contracts, hiring, regulatory questions and financial modelling all sit outside its scope. You will need separate tools or advisers for those. We'd rather see a tool state its limits than imply it covers everything, but it does mean siift is one part of a founder's stack, not all of it.
Pros & Cons
✓ Pros
- Free plan is the full product: every feature, $0 forever, no credit card
- Built specifically for founders, with a staged path from Ideate to Scale
- Living Memory System keeps project context between sessions
- Evidence-backed feedback designed to filter out weak ideas early
- Unlimited projects on every plan
- Low entry price for paid plans: $11/user/mo billed annually on Discover
- Clear about what it doesn't cover (HR, legal, compliance, finance)
✗ Cons
- Credit-based limits: 50 credits on Free can mean fewer than 50 requests, and per-request credit costs aren't published
- Current monthly prices depend on the LAUNCH26 promo, which may expire; list prices are $29 and $99/user/mo
- No help with HR, legal, compliance or finance
- Young product; user count and program affiliations are vendor claims we haven't verified
- The 80+ supported apps for automations aren't listed in the information we reviewed
- Per-user pricing adds up for larger founding teams
Who Should Use siift?
Based on its published features and pricing, siift fits these users best:
- First-time founders at the idea or validation stage. The step-by-step guidance and evidence-backed feedback are most valuable when you don't yet know what to test or in what order.
- Solo founders and side-project builders comparing several ideas. Unlimited projects and a full-featured Free plan let you keep a separate canvas for each idea at no cost.
- Small founding teams. Shareable workspaces put co-founders and advisers on the same canvas, and Discover is $11/user/mo billed annually.
- Founders in accelerator or incubator programs who want a structured place to keep their business model and decisions as they evolve.
Who should skip it: founders whose immediate need is legal, HR, compliance or financial work, which siift doesn't cover; established businesses that already have a strategy process and mainly need execution tools for sales, marketing or content; and anyone who wants a single, general-purpose AI assistant for every task rather than a dedicated strategy tool.
siift Alternatives
We haven't reviewed another tool that matches siift's founder-specific workflow directly, so these alternatives cover different parts of the same job. All link to pages we've already published:
- ChatGPT or Claude are the flexible option. You can use either for strategy work, but you supply the structure yourself instead of following a staged founder workflow. Our ChatGPT vs Claude comparison covers the differences.
- Notion suits founders who want to write and organise their own business plan with AI help in a general workspace. See also Notion vs ChatGPT.
- Perplexity is useful for the market-research side of validation, when you want answers with cited sources.
- Parallel AI is a better fit once you are past strategy and need AI for lead generation, outreach and content.

Verdict & Score Breakdown
The 7.6/10 score below is RankerToolAI's editorial assessment, weighted according to our methodology. It's based only on siift's published features and pricing, not on hands-on testing, user reviews or third-party ratings. We can't judge output quality without running the product, so the 30% output weighting goes to siift's approach instead: how its canvas, memory and evidence-backed feedback are designed to produce useful guidance. Integrations and support share the final 10%.
| Criterion (weight) | Score | Rating |
|---|---|---|
| Approach & Guidance Design (30%) Business canvas plus persistent memory plus evidence-backed feedback is a sound design for founders; output quality not independently verified |

| Features (25%) Canvas, Living Memory, proactive guidance, 80+ app automations, shareable workspaces, unlimited projects; no HR/legal/compliance/finance |
7.5/10 | |

8.0/10 | |
| Ease of Adoption (15%) $0 start, no card, guided stages; assessed from signup terms and product design, not a hands-on UI test |
8.0/10 | |
| Integrations & Support (10%) 80+ apps claimed but not listed; published support targets of <48hr (Discover) and <12hr (Focus) |
7.0/10 | |
| Overall (weighted) | 7.6/10 |
siift's strongest argument is how little it asks before you can judge it. The whole product is on the Free plan, so a founder can run a real idea through the canvas, memory and feedback loop without paying. The focus on one job, getting from idea to a validated plan, is a strength for early-stage founders and a limitation for everyone else. It lost points on pricing clarity, because credit costs per request aren't published and today's monthly prices depend on a promo, and on maturity, because the traction figures are the vendor's own. If you're at the idea stage, start on Free; if you outgrow 50 credits, Discover billed annually at $11/user/mo is a low-risk next step.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is siift free?
Yes. siift's Free plan costs $0 forever, needs no credit card and includes 50 credits per user per month, which siift says covers up to 50 AI requests depending on their complexity. siift describes the Free plan as the full product: every feature is included, and paid plans only add credits and faster support.
How much does siift cost?
At time of writing (October 2026), Free is $0 with 50 credits per user per month. Discover lists at $29/user/mo but is $20/user/mo billed monthly with promo code LAUNCH26, or $11/user/mo billed annually ($131/yr), with 200 credits per user per month. Focus lists at $99/user/mo but is $69/user/mo monthly with LAUNCH26, or $37/user/mo billed annually ($449/yr), with 1,000 credits per user per month. Enterprise is custom-priced. Promo pricing may expire, so check siift's pricing page before you buy.
Is siift worth it?
For a founder at the idea or early validation stage, siift is easy to justify trying because the Free plan includes every feature. Whether a paid plan is worth it depends on how many credits you use: paid tiers only add credits (200 on Discover, 1,000 on Focus) and faster support. It is not worth it if you mainly need help with HR, legal, compliance or finance, which siift says it does not cover.
What is siift best for?
siift is best for founders and early-stage entrepreneurs who want a structured, evidence-backed way to move an idea through ideation, validation, building, go-to-market and scaling, with the AI remembering their project context between sessions. Small founding teams can also use its shareable workspaces to work from the same business canvas.
What is the best siift alternative?
It depends on what you need. A general assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude is more flexible but does not give you siift's staged founder workflow out of the box. Notion suits founders who want to write and organise their own plans with AI help. Perplexity is useful for cited market research. Parallel AI is a better fit once you need AI for lead generation, outreach and content rather than strategy.
Does siift help with legal or financial planning?
No. siift's own FAQ says it does not help with HR, legal, compliance or finance. You will need separate tools or professional advisers for those areas.
