Quick Verdict
Joiin does one job: pulling several companies' books into a single consolidated set of reports. Every plan includes chart of accounts mapping, eliminations, the full statement set, budgets, dashboards and report packs, with unlimited users and clients, so accountants and multi-entity groups aren't billed per seat. Published pricing runs from $23/mo (billed annually) for one company to $252/mo for 100. The main catches are that multi-currency needs Pro or higher, API and BI connections are Max-only, white labelling is still marked coming soon, and the pricing page doesn't clearly map company-count prices to each plan. This verdict is based on Joiin's published pricing and feature information as of September 2026. RankerToolAI has not run a hands-on test of Joiin.
What is Joiin?
Joiin is software that connects to the accounting systems of several companies and turns their separate ledgers into one consolidated set of financial reports. Its pricing page lists ten accounting-platform connections, including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, MYOB and Zoho Books, so the companies in a group don't all need to use the same system.
The problem it solves will be familiar to anyone who has closed the month for a group of companies in spreadsheets. Each entity has its own chart of accounts, intercompany transactions inflate the combined totals, and every reporting cycle means another round of exports, lookups and manual adjustments. Joiin handles this with two features. Chart of accounts (COA) mapping rolls different account structures up into one reporting structure. Intercompany eliminations remove transactions between group companies from the consolidated figures. Both are included on every plan, not reserved for the top tier.
Beyond consolidation, Joiin produces the standard statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and trial balance), plus KPIs, sales and purchasing reports, budgets, dashboards and report packs. Reports export to PDF, CSV and Excel. Joiin Intelligence, its AI chat and summaries feature, is also listed on every plan.
The packaging targets two audiences. Business groups get consolidated reporting across their own entities. Accountants and advisors get unlimited clients and users, which matters when you report for dozens of client groups and don't want to pay per seat or per client.
Who Should Use Joiin?
Based on Joiin's published features and pricing, it fits these buyers well:
- Business groups with two or more legal entities. If you consolidate a holding company and its subsidiaries, COA mapping and eliminations on every plan cover the core consolidation work. At $29/mo billed annually for two companies, the entry price is modest.
- Accounting firms and fractional CFOs. With unlimited clients and users, the price depends on company count, not on how many staff or clients log in. Report packs and custom layouts help with recurring management reporting.
- Groups with entities on different accounting systems. A group with one company on Xero and another on QuickBooks or Sage can consolidate without first moving everything to one ledger.
- International groups (Pro or Max). Multi-currency starts on Pro, and Max adds advanced FX so you can use your own exchange rates. A group with overseas subsidiaries should budget for at least Pro.
- Finance teams that feed BI tools (Max). Max's API and Zapier connection sends data out to Power BI, Tableau and data warehouses.
It fits less well if you run one company and don't plan to add more. Consolidation is Joiin's main selling point, and with a single ledger your accounting software's own reports may already cover most of what you need. The 1-company plan exists ($23/mo billed annually), but you'd mostly be paying for budgets, dashboards, report packs and the AI features.
Key Features
1. Chart of accounts mapping and eliminations
This is what makes Joiin a consolidation tool rather than just a reporting dashboard. COA mapping matches each entity's accounts to a common reporting structure, so "Sales - UK" in one ledger and "Revenue" in another roll into the same consolidated line. Intercompany eliminations remove transactions between group entities so consolidated revenue and balances aren't overstated. Joiin includes both on every plan, which we count as its strongest point.
2. Full set of financial statements, KPIs and budgets
Every plan produces P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and trial balance reports, plus KPIs, sales and purchasing reports, and budgets. Custom layouts let you match your own management-accounts format instead of a fixed template. Forecasting is a separate feature that starts on Pro.
3. Dashboards, report packs and exports
Every plan includes dashboards and report packs, and reports export to PDF, CSV and Excel. For accountants, report packs are the practical piece: a bundle of reports you can deliver to a client each month instead of assembling it by hand. Pro adds an Excel Add-In for teams who want to work with Joiin data directly in spreadsheets.
4. Multi-currency and advanced FX (Pro and Max)
Core consolidates into a single reporting currency. Pro adds multi-currency. Max adds advanced FX, which lets you apply your own exchange rates instead of the defaults. That matters if your auditors or group policy require specific translation rates.
5. Joiin Intelligence: AI chat, summaries and agents
Every plan includes AI chat and AI-generated summaries under the Joiin Intelligence name. Pro adds AI agents. Max adds an MCP connection that links Joiin to Claude and ChatGPT. If you already use one of those assistants, see our Claude review and ChatGPT review. The pricing page lists these AI features but doesn't explain what they can and can't do, so test them on your own data during the trial.
6. Data in and out: Stripe, non-financial data, API and Zapier
Pro adds non-financial data and a Stripe connection, plus global search across your reporting. Max adds an API and Zapier integration for sending consolidated data out to Power BI, Tableau and data warehouses. If group reporting feeds a wider BI setup, this is the feature that decides between Pro and Max.

Joiin Pricing & Plans (2026)
Joiin charges by the number of companies you connect, not by users or reports. These are the prices published on joiin.co/pricing as of September 30, 2026:
| Companies | Billed monthly | Billed annually (per month) | Annual cost per company / mo* |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 company | $28/mo | $23/mo | $23.00 |
| 2 companies | $36/mo | $29/mo | $14.50 |
| 5 companies | $70/mo | $57/mo | $11.40 |
| 10 companies | $111/mo | $92/mo | $9.20 |
| 20 companies | $167/mo | $139/mo | $6.95 |
| 50 companies | $217/mo | $174/mo | $3.48 |
| 100 companies | $336/mo | $252/mo | $2.52 |
| Over 100 companies | From $336/mo plus $2.80 per extra company | — | |
*Our own arithmetic: the annual per-month price divided by the number of companies.
Two things stand out. First, the cost per company falls steeply as you add companies: $23 for one company, and about $2.52 each at 100 companies with annual billing. That suits accounting firms that consolidate many client entities. Second, annual billing costs about 17–25% less than monthly billing across the listed tiers, for example $92 vs $111 a month for 10 companies.
Free trial: the 14-day trial runs on the full Max plan — Joiin says multi-currency, forecasting, the Excel Add-In, AI agents and open data access are all available from signup — and doesn't require a credit card. When it ends, you choose Core, Pro or Max. Keep a note of which Max-only features you used during the trial so you don't lose one you need by picking a cheaper plan.

How to choose: Core suits single-currency groups that need consolidation, budgets and management reporting. Pro is the realistic starting point for any group with a foreign subsidiary, and for firms that want forecasting or the Excel Add-In. Max is worth it if consolidated data needs to flow into Power BI, Tableau or a data warehouse, if you need your own FX rates, or if you want to connect Claude or ChatGPT through MCP. Don't pick Max for white labelling yet; it's still marked coming soon.
Integrations
Joiin's pricing page lists these accounting-platform integrations:
- Xero
- QuickBooks
- Intuit Enterprise Suite
- Sage
- MYOB
- FreeAgent
- Puzzle
- Pennylane
- Zoho Books
- Fortnox
The practical benefit is consolidating across different accounting systems. For example, a subsidiary you acquire can keep its current system and still feed group reporting, as long as that system is on the list.
Beyond the accounting connections, Pro adds Stripe and non-financial data, and Max adds the API, Zapier and MCP connections covered above. If you rely on a system that isn't listed, ask Joiin about it during the trial before you commit.

Joiin Alternatives
Joiin belongs to a category of tools that add consolidation and management reporting on top of small-business accounting software. Other tools buyers commonly compare include Fathom, Spotlight Reporting, LiveFlow and Syft. We haven't reviewed them here, so we're not comparing their prices or features. To build a shortlist, ask each vendor three questions:
- Does it connect to every accounting system in your group? This is where consolidation tools differ most for groups using more than one system.
- How does it handle eliminations and multi-currency? Check which plan includes each feature. As Joiin's own plans show, that can change the real price.
- What does the price depend on? Joiin charges by company count. Other tools may charge by user, by client or by plan.
If you need ad-hoc analysis of financial data rather than consolidation, a general AI data analysis tool may suit you better. See our Julius AI review and our best AI data tools roundup.
Verdict & Score Breakdown
The 7.9/10 score below is RankerToolAI's editorial assessment, weighted according to our methodology. It's based only on Joiin's published features and pricing, not on hands-on testing, user reviews or third-party ratings. We can't judge output quality without using the product, so we scored reporting depth instead: which reports and consolidation features each plan includes. We didn't score support because Joiin's pricing page doesn't give details we could verify.

8.5/10 | |
| Overall (weighted) | 7.9/10 |
If you consolidate more than one company, Joiin includes the consolidation essentials on every plan: COA mapping, eliminations and the full set of financial statements, with unlimited users and clients. For two companies, that costs $29/mo billed annually. Joiin lost points because multi-currency and forecasting require Pro, the API and BI connections require Max, white labelling isn't available yet, and the pricing page doesn't clearly show which prices apply to which plan. For a multi-entity group or an accounting firm, the no-card 14-day Max trial is the cheapest way to test Joiin on your own books.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Joiin free?

How much does Joiin cost?
Joiin is priced by the number of companies you consolidate. As of September 2026, 1 company costs $28/mo billed monthly or $23/mo billed annually, 10 companies cost $111/mo or $92/mo annually, and 100 companies cost $336/mo or $252/mo annually. Above 100 companies, pricing starts at $336/mo plus $2.80 per extra company. Check joiin.co for how these prices apply to the Core, Pro and Max plans.
Is Joiin worth it?
For business groups and accounting firms that consolidate several entities, Joiin looks like good value on paper: every plan includes unlimited reports, users and clients, chart of accounts mapping and eliminations. It is less compelling if you run a single company, if you need multi-currency (which starts on Pro), or if you need white labelling (still marked coming soon).
What is Joiin best for?
Joiin is best for consolidating financial statements across multiple companies, including groups whose entities run on different accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, MYOB or Zoho Books. It also suits accountants and advisors who produce management reports for many clients, since users and clients are unlimited on every plan.
What is the best Joiin alternative?
The best alternative depends on your accounting stack and on whether you need full consolidation or management reporting. Other tools buyers commonly compare in this category include Fathom, Spotlight Reporting, LiveFlow and Syft. Compare each vendor's current integrations, consolidation features and pricing against your own entity count before deciding.
Does Joiin support multi-currency consolidation?
Yes, from the Pro plan up. Core reports in a single currency. Pro adds multi-currency, and Max adds advanced FX so you can use your own exchange rates.
